PDF form - Page Break issue

Asked by hphanpeterson on October 09, 2015 at 01:00 PM

    Hi,

The pdf version of the form I downloaded has some page break issues.

The first page of my form shows only the Name fields and rest of the content is pushed to second page.

Similarly the format of the rest of the pages are not in order as well. The Section heading and the contents are separated on two different pages.

Can you please take a look and see what the problem might be?

    Thank you,

    Madhu

I was able to reproduced the issue as well when I test creating the Fillable PDF Form version of your jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/40055714382147

From what I observed so far, except that 1 page skip that seems to be due to the TEXT field after the Full Name field, the full PDF From version looks fine.

Perhaps if you can try moving the TEXT field to the other section on the form or modify it a bit by condesing, it will fix the PDF version.

I will test this and get back to you quickly.

    Thanks.

From what I have test, the PDF Form creator will usually try to fit in the TEXT field within a page in the form.

So in you form  it could not fit in within the 1st page due to its lenght(content), the reason it was moved to the next page.

I suggest you try to lessen the content of the TEXT field as much as possible and test creating the PDF Form again.

Please let us know if issue still persist.
