How to conditionally send emails to five different people based on a selection on the form

this is not what i need

example: I have 5 addresses that receive the form once submitted (auto responder set to carry out this task) sometimes I only want to send to 3 of the recipients. The form address is shared only by the five, so each can fill out the form and all will receive a copy. I need a way for any of the five to select who out of the five their submission will be delivered too. I understand that I can remove emails from the notifier but not only does this make things complicated other people would need access to the dashboard. A simple option would be for the mail addresses be in drop box and the form would be delivered to the address selected,

I believe that you are asking about conditionally sending emails upon submission, to only the people that are selected on the form. This is very much possible with Jotform - you can use Conditional Logic to send emails based on some selection on the form.

After setting up your Email Notification or an Autoresponder, we need to have a field where your staff will select who needs to receive the email. I recommend using a Check Box field, as it will allow them to select multiple people:

Then, you can add conditions by going to Setup & Embed > Conditions, and then selecting Send an email after submission:

You need to set up a condition for each of the selected options in the Check Box field. In my example, I have 5 rules set as "If People to be notified is equal to Amy, send Notification to amy's email".

After setting up all 5 conditional rules for all five possible selections in the Check box, you will end up with something like this in your Conditions:

The conditional rules will make sure that email notification is sent only to the people that are selected in the field upon which conditions are based. Please let us know if you need further assistance in setting it up, and we will be happy to help.
