Gadget used to embed form in Google Site is not using SSL?Asked by GMMTA on October 09, 2015 at 06:02 PM
My "parent name" data entry field is showing my web address instead of being blank when it is embedded. The preview of the form does not show this information. How do I fix this?
input field shows name preview parent thanks
I checked your website and I was not able to replicate the problem.
However, I see that the problem is that you are loading insecure links or resources in your website, I presume you are building your website using Google site builder?
Please try re-embedding either using the default script code
Or the iFrame embed code, make sure that you are using SSL protocol or https:// or https://secure as mentioned in this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/63-How-can-I-receive-SSL-Submissions
However, I noticed that the Gadget used to embed the form in Google site is not using the SSL protocol, which is why there's error in the browser console. Let me forward this to our developers to have it checked and fixed.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Thanks for the help - Your suggestion worked perfectly!
Glad to hear that it worked in your end. The issue related to Google site has been assigned to one of our developers, if there are any updates or improvement on embedding on that platform, we will surely update you on this thread.
