    Payment Tools supported by JotForm

Asked by Robert McConnell  on October 10, 2015 at 02:14 PM

Hello. I am interested in signing up for Jot Form, but I have a few questions.

I am assuming the prices are based on a monthly charge?

On the free version, it says "10 receive payments" What does this mean? If I integrate with paypal for instance does this mean I can only have 10 people access payment through paypal?

We do close to $200,000.00 worth of service business a year. January is when we open registration for one of our events and a 120 people register in one month. After that there maybe only 80 - 100 registrations for the rest of the year.

Is it possible to be at the $19.00 a month plan for January then downgrade back to the free version?

We do collect credit card information. If our form is imbedded into our wordpress website which is secure. When they submit a form does it go to your server and then we are notified and we log in to your site to download the form?

What is a sub user? Does this mean that I can edit the form and plus one more person?

    Hi Robert,

Yes, the amounts that are currently visible in the pricing page is for the monthly. You can view the yearly and bi-yearly when you click the plan.

On the free version, it says "10 receive payments" What does this mean? If I integrate with PayPal for instance does this mean I can only have 10 people access payment through PayPal?

    -Yes.

Is it possible to be at the $19.00 a month plan for January then downgrade back to the free version?

-Yes. You can upgrade then downgrade anytime you want to.

We do collect credit card information. If our form is embedded into our WordPress website which is secure. When they submit a form does it go to your server and then we are notified and we log into your site to download the form?

-You need to make sure to use our Payment Integrations for credit card payments. Manually collecting credit card information using our plain text fields such as the text box is not allowed. We consider it as phishing which is against our Terms of Use.

-All submissions are stored to our servers. When someone submits to your form, you will be notified but assuming that you have a notifier in the form (http://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications).

-You can download the submissions by going to your form submissions page: http://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-view-Submissions.

What is a sub-user? Does this mean that I can edit the form and plus one more person?

-Yes, you are correct. You can add another user that can edit your forms. Please check this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/232-How-to-Share-Forms-with-a-Sub-Account-User.

I hope that answers your questions. Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to reply to all my questions. I had mentioned
that we need to collect credit card info so we can process credit cards
through a separate system. You said I need to use a payment integration
method. Does that mean I have to sign up with paypal or stripe? I don't
like paypal or stripe. I currently use moneris and I am happy with that.
Does this mean I cannot use jotform if I just want the credit card number
directly from the customer? Thank you .........Robert

    Hi Robert,

    Thank you for contacting us.

For security, you need to use one of our payment tools, while you are creating payment forms.

Unfortunately, Moneris payment processor is not currently supported by JotForm. However If you don't want to use Paypal or Stripe, you can choose other payment tools such as, Authorize.Net.

Here are the payment tools that you can use with JotForm:

    Thank you for understanding.

If you have any question or issues, please do not hesitate contacting us. We will be glad to assist you.
