Why Form over quota error message on my form even though I am within limits?Asked by Radu Braniscan on December 30, 2015 at 07:31 AM
Why do I get this error message on my form?
Form over quota. This form has exceeded its allocated quota.
I had only 23 form submission. Limit is 100.
Available space: 100 Mb
message form over quota quota error jotformeu exceeded
I accessed your form but I was not able to replicate the issue you are encountering. I was able to view the form successfully.
Can you check again on your end and see if it is working fine now?
Do let us know if you need further assistance.
Yes, now it's working because I created an account and I now have the form inside there where I can also see the quota.
Previously, the form was created on a guest account and it seems that there are different quotas and limits for such account. Please check this bug / mis-information in order to prevent other users having the same problem. Thanks.
Guest account can receive up to 20 submissions. That is why we always suggest to our users to sign up and create free account. Free accounts can receive up to 100 submissions per month. So, this is not a bug.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
So take my suggestion or leave it. There is no such mention on the front page or where exactly is this clear for the user? I consider it an UX bug.
I understand that this is not clear but considering that there are lot of users of JotForm, and every of them do not want to register for free account. They are using guest accounts for testing and for trying of JotFrom Builder and for asking general questions about JotForm on forum before they decide sign up. Free accounts and guest accounts are not the same type of accounts and considering all of that they have different limitations.
