How Can I Ensure That Users Enter the Full Number of Characters Specified in the Input Mask Settings for a Field?

Is there a way to ensure that fields with input masks filled out completely?

Meaning, I have a text field with an input mask of "##########"

I want to make sure that only numbers are added and that the length MUST be 10 characters long.

Yes, that can certainly be done. In the Input Mask control, check the Fill Mask Validation box:

    and save the form.

If you need more help with this, we'd be happy to provide it.

    Cheers

Nope - at least for me, the fill mask check is completely and consistently ignoring validation. It ensure that the TYPE of character entered is correct, but not the length.

The above form is an example. I can enter - for example - just the area code for the phone number and it allows that as a valid entry. As well, on page 2 of the form, I can enter portions of the DEA and NPI numbers and it will take it.

Your should make sure to check the "Fill Mask Validation" and that should require users to complete the field. I checked the form and you did not so I've fixed this for you.

    Please test the form again.
