Prepopulate one form from another form

Hi, I'm about to start creating my forms in JotForm, finally. Been a paying customer for a while.

I will have a standard set of documents that will need completion, with https, save and resume, and signature.

    My question is:

Can I use the data from Form 1 in Form 2? Example, I would want to carry the Name and DOB across multiple forms.

    Is that possible?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

It is possible by populating the second form's fields via URL from the first form's input. There is a similar thread (http://www.jotform.com/answers/93645) that was answered before by my colleague and it might help you. You can also check this article for more information about prepopulating form: Prepopulating fields to your JotForm via URL parameters

Please let us know if you have any further questions in this thread.

    Regards.

Hi, thank you for the prompt reply. The support and forums are great, and I did find that solution yesterday.

I do have a follow on question that I was not able to find an answer for:

Is there a way to take data entered on Form 1 and use it for Conditional Formatting on Form 2?

My specific need is Gender is entered on Form 1, and I want to hide or display gender specific questions on Form 2.

    Thank you!

On behalf of my colleague, you are welcome.

Though your question is related but it is a new one. I have moved it to a new thread and you will be answered here:  http://www.jotform.com/answers/678340278
