I have recently setup two separate forms to sell tickets for an event. In each case I have used the Inventory Widget to inform places available and close off after each event becomes fully booked. The calculation widget has then passed the total cost to the PayPal widget for payment. In some cases the quantity was selected in the combo box, but for whatever reason the calculation did not happen, therefore the calculated total remained 0 and they could not pay via PayPal because the amount due was 0. I had a similar issue in FormsCentral with some older IOS devices not liking combo boxes - whether browser or other reasons I am unsure. Is there a way to run an inventory widget without a combo box, because I want all the other features? The form I give the url for below is still live and open for booking to a restricted group btw.

the Inventory widget currently offers 2 types of quantity input: number & dropdown. you could try the number input type to find out if this works better.
i wish there's a 3rd option for spinner controls - wink wink to the developers ;-)
i just started experimenting with the inventory this week and it's a cool widget, which (imo) offers more flexibility than the ticket purchases, gift registry & quantity gift registry widgets.

Thanks Randy. I've amended the form to Number Input. I still don't understand the combo box thing and wondered if it's anything I can correct and still use a combo box. Appreciate your reply though.
i've only used the dropdown option on my inventory widget and it works well on all platforms and browsers (pc, mac, iOS & android gadgets).
i also tried the inventory widget on your form on my iPad & android phone when it still had the dropdown option - and it worked fine.
Thanks for your info. It's a mystery to me. I have users on a variety of Pc's, Android and IOS devices (as we all do) some have a problem, some don't it's a real pain. I've had this with pdf forms and Forms Central forms, but only when combo boxes are used. No worries. Thanks for your info. I appreciate your thoughts.
I'm sorry to hear about this problem in your form. But I want to know whether the form is embedded to your website or not? If the form is embedded and if the issue happened there then I think the issue could be related to the way how you embed the form. Sometimes, it's the script conflict that is causing some issues in the form, especially if you are using the default JS embed method. You can prevent this from happening by re-embedding your form using our iframe method: http://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code.

Welvin. Thank you for your reply. I am pretty sure you gave me the correct answer. The form was embedded in an Adobe Muse site. Sorry for delay replying, but I asked folk that had problems to try again - all but one succeeded. The one fail was, I think, a PayPal issue.Seeing all the choices of apps for iframes - which is the best compatible to use for Muse? Is it worth you considering a link to a Muse iframe, given you've just gained a load of former Adobe FormsCentral clients who may well use Muse?Thanks again.
