The automatic email parents receive after submitting a form does not contain the correct information, but the one I receive does. For example: their emails say that instead of 2 kids being signed up, only one is; and rather than saying the mother is signed up as a volunteer, it lists the father. The emails I receive contains all of the correct information...but not theirs.

It seems to me that you wish to change the email template setup for the information that is sent out to the parents whom are filling in your form.
If that is the case then you would need to modify the Autoresponder on your form.
