If you add a field to a form, does it edit previous submissions?

If you meant to ask that you will be able to edit submissions even after adding a new form field - yes you will be able to edit your previous submissions even after adding a new form field.

I was just making sure that the new field would appear on the old
submissions. I believe the answer is yes, so I'm going to go ahead and do
it. I'm already "versed" at editing a submission! thx

Yes the newly added field will also appear in the form when you edit past submissions.
