I need to add some basic information/instructions to my form and the only way I see to do that is by using the header and subheader function. This makes the text really large and takes up unnecccessary space on the form. Is there a more efficient way to do this?Page URL:

The best way to do this is by using the Free Text (HTML) tool found under the Power Tools section. This tool gives you complete control over the appearance of your text (i.e., font size, color, style, etc).
If you have further questions on how to use this tool, do not hesitate to contact us again. By the way, you seem to be a new JotForm user. Let me be the first in welcoming you to our community.
Thank you for choosing JotForm!
