How can I tell that these forms are really secure?

I embedded a form on one of my webpages, but while I'm filling out the form the connection is http (not https) and there is no security certificate.

We do support SSL forms, and SSL is actually enabled by default on our forms now.

Your embedded form is already protected with SSL. You might consider adding a Secure Site Seal to your form by following the next guide.

Enabling Security Certificate Seal on Secure Forms

You will also need to update form embed code a bit to see a correct site seal.

    From:

     <script type="text/javascript" src="https://form.jotform.com/jsform/42727695783168"></script>

    To:

     <script type="text/javascript" src="https://secure.jotform.com/jsform/42727695783168"></script>

Note, that your web site itself will not show the https URL since SSL certificate is not installed for your domain.
