    Smooth Signature is not being saved when using the Form Tabs widget

    However, once testing I clicked on the edit link with the notifier email to sign the form as head of procurement. I noticed that the Procurement assistant's signature was no longer present. Please advise why this is and is it avoidable in the future as the signatures are the main part of this form.

    I cloned your form - http://www.jotformpro.com/form/51740669998980 and did some test submission but I was not able to encounter the issue you are reporting. The signature value for the field was populated properly on edit mode.


    Can you provide us a sample Edit Link of your form's submission where you encounter this issue so we can further investigate the issue?

    Ypu seemed to have cloned the wrong form but regardless the functionality should be the same. 


    Please see edit link below where the email signature of the procurement assistant is not signed anymore.

    I did a few tests and the signature is coming through in my copy of your form, but it is not in your edit link.  I did need to change the sizing of the widgets to get them to show properly with the form tabs widget, this refreshed the widgets to the most up to date version.  This is a simple solution that may work.  Resize each one of your widgets to slightly smaller then save the form.  The new edits should include the signatures.  The old edit links may not include them.

    If that still does not allow the signatures to come through in the edit link, let us know and we will be happy to have another look.

    Hi David, 

    I re-sized all the signatures widgets & tested the edit link, the signatures are still now coming through. Please have a look from your end. 

    I also noticed another issue whilst conducting this test: 

    The access key field remains populated also in the edit link. I'm just cautious that this form is going out to the Supplier after this approval process & we may reveal some sensitive information if they decide to click into these tabs. Is there anyway to have the access key fields not remain populated after every submission?

    I believe the problem is the signature widget you are using.

    This form http://www.jotformpro.com/form/51740669998980 uses the E-Signature widget.

    While the cloned form http://www.jotformpro.com/form/52810729995973 uses the Smooth signature widget. 

    The problem seems to be related to a conflict between the Form Tabs widget and the Smooth signature widget, when you used the Form Tabs, it seems like it is not saving the signature when you click the submit button, which is why it doesn't show in the edit link because its not in the submissions. Let me forward this to our developers to have it checked and fixed. For now please try using the E-Signature widget instead.

    Hi, any update regarding the above issue regarding the smooth signature widget? Have the developers found a solution or shall I transfer all my signtures across to the e-signature widget?

    There are still no updates as of yet.  If you can use the e-signature widget for now instead of the smooth signature, that is a fix that will work for the time being.  Since I cannot say when they will be able to resolve this, it is better to have the form working than to wait.

    It's been a long time coming, apologies for the extended delay. 

    The smooth signature and form tabs should now work normally - all signature images should be saved when your form is submitted.
