How can I adjust the placement of thumbnail product images on PayPal Forms?

Asked by themacgroups on September 29, 2010 at 11:36 PM

My product information wraps to the next line, which means my product image now overlays the pricing information. Is there a way to modify image placement in paypal forms?

Unfortunately no, it is not possible to change the image placement on a Paypal Form. My recommendation would be to add a separate image to the form as a separate field. It is located under "Power Tools". We have recently improvements image features. That might do what you would like.

As a final solution, you can copy the full form source code of your paypal form to your web site and then change it there using your favorite HTML editor such as DreamWeaver. To get complete form source code, open your paypal form on the form builder:

    1. Select "Setup & Share" tab on toolbar,
    2. Click on "Share Form"
    3. Click on "Advanced Options"
    4. Click on "Full Source Code".

Yeah, I have no problem with finding the source or editing it.  I was just hoping that I wouldn't have to do that many modifications to the finished form.  Thanks anyway. Trying to get the placement where it needs to be for multiple browsers is proving to be challenging on facebook.

When you are done please let me know how you wanted it to look so that I can add this to feature requests list. Maybe it is something we can add.

    Here is your answer!!!

Users should delete the form class code associated with the image.  Then it will show up correctly in both firefox and IE without having to use spacers, set vspace and all the other crud.

Your developers need to remove the class code associated with the thumbnail images from the facebook code to be copied.

Thanks for the clarification. We will look into that. One of our developers is actually working on the facebook form code right now. Especially validations. It is hard but I think we will be able to pull it off.

If you have a payment form on facebook, probably total does not work either. We are looking into that as well.

Cool on the totals.  I saw the post about those not working and removed them from.  It would be a nice addition to be able to put the code back in.

And thanks.  It's always a good thing when suggestions are looked into and solutions implemented.
