Can I show the thank you message in a new window?

Sorry if this one ended up in the wrong spot.  I didn't see a response.   So I have a link from google drive on the form below.  Thanks to all your help.   It wasn't working on the HTML button method, but when you click on the download form button the METHOD 2 is working: using the redirect link in the "Thank You" page.  So that works good and appears to then work in place of the actual "Thank You" page coming up.

I am wondering if it is possible using this form redirect method to somehow set it to open a "New Window" whereas right now, it takes them out of the website and to Google Drive Doc that is being downloaded.

I guess in this day and age we want to try to keep people in the website for as long as possible

    So in summary:

    1. HTML button has code for the download button form method, doesn't seem to respond

    2. It appears as though it is responding now, because of the redirect link url method in the "Thank You" page.

    3. Looking for a way to have the PDF from Google Docs or Drive open in a new window?

    Thanks a ton!

    Brett

    Hello Brett,

If I understand your requirement correctly, you want to display the thank you message in a new window. Is that correct?

Unfortunately we do not have such feature but you may like to take a look at the following thread where my colleague have given a step by step guide to show thank you message in a new window:  http://www.jotform.com/answers/181798

Another way is to embed your form with its lightbox embed code. This will load the form in a lightbox window and after the form is submitted, the thank you message will be also displayed in the lightbox window. Please take a look at the following guide on how to get your form's lightbox embed code:  http://www.jotform.com/help/220-How-to-Create-a-Lightbox-Form

I am not sure if I have understand your question #1 "1. HTML button has code for the download button form method, doesn't seem to respond". I did check your form and did not find any download button there. Please explain your question a bit more in detail and we will surely help you.

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!
