Ability to split Phone field into three separate boxes

I am looking for a way to have three separate phone boxes for the 3 digit area code, next 3 digits, and last 4 digits.  Also, I'd like the cursor to advance to the next box when the next number is entered.  This way, the person entering the number does not have to advance manually to the next box and does not wonder if the dashes are needed.  Also, when the the form data is exported to Excel I need the phone number to show up in one cell like this, "208-555-5555".

    Thanks,

    ERB

Unfortunately, the phone number field currently doesn't have the exact feature you're looking for. I will be forwarding this to our developers as a feature request and you will be notified on this thread for any updates.

For the meantime, you can try to use  the Mask Value property of the Phone Number field and enable Input Mask. That, however, would result of it having only one field instead of 2 or 3.

Only one field instead of three.

Here's how it will look like on the submission page:

and on the excel file when exported

If this doesn't work for you, you can also try to download the form's source code, then you can hire a developer that may help you in making the phone number field boxes to three and have the cursor move to the next box after completing the required number of digits of the current box.

    Thank you.
