Conditionally shown Rich Text editor displays with incorrect sizeAsked by andypenn on October 23, 2015 at 04:24 AM
This has been asked before , I cant seem to resize a rich text box under a collapsed form state
the address has been included perhaps you would try on my behalf something like 120C x 40R. I would like to understand why this happens under this state. Is it just an anomaly on my particular form??
I see what you mean. When you are using a Text Area field with Rich Text editor, and you set up show/hide conditions on this field, the Text Area will display at its default size - regardless of its settings under Rows and Columns.
On your form, you have set the rich text editor to have 160 columns, and 40 rows.
When your rich text editor is conditionally displayed, it shows at its default size:
Here is a demo form that demonstrates the issue:
Both editors there are set at the same huge size, yet the conditionally shown editor displays at its default size instead. Thank you for bringing this up to our attention, I have forwarded this report to our developers for closer examination.
We will let you know through this thread once the issue is resolved, or if we have more information. Thank you.
This has now been fixed. You will need to open the hidden collapse to make it work though. This will not affect the functionality of the conditions, just show the textarea properly,
Please let us know if you continue to have problems.
