Can I manage my forms better?

    I like that I can see my forms on a list mode, it helps me see things in one place.  However, I was wondering if there's a way that I can manage forms by adding a few fields and then me updating the fields without the other party seeing.

    It's a little difficult to explain, but here I go:

    Scenario 1

    The client will fill out the form and I will get an email notification.

    I will then contact the client and there are a series of steps before the case is considered closed.  By tomorrow I forget in which step I was in reaching the client, so I want to add a status field and some checkboxes that I can check off or update as I go along, but I dont' want the client to see these fields when they fill out the form.

    Thank you in advance for your excellent responses!

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Let me please inform you that you can add a Hidden Box field to your form. Then, you will be able to fill in that field through form Submissions.

    Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.

    You guys are so awesome!!!  Thank you for your prompt response.

    Can I make other fields hidden?  For example if I want to add a few checkbox options?  I can use the hidden box for status updates, but I'd love to add some checkboxes for say "step 1", "step 2", or "step 3"

    Unfortunately, this is not currently possible. However, this is something we might look at in the future.

    Thank you for using our services!

    In addition to what Mike_T said, may I suggest that you can try embedding your form on your own HTML page and hide (or not include) the fields that you don't want to appear on the HTML page.  This way, the actual form is not going to be affected and when you try to go to your next steps, it will still show up and become editable.

    Thanks again... I'm not sure how to do the HTML thing that you are asking.  I have a webpage and add it as a snippet to my page.  The problem is that I always allow for extra room since most users' computers vary and sometimes all the form is not viewable.

    Is there a way to add a blank space between fields.  I want to add after the submit button but before the boxes I listed:

    You can add extra space under the submit button by adding some Custom CSS.

    From the Setup & Embed toolbar, click on the Preferences icon, select Form Styles tab and in the Inject Custom CSS text area, add the following:

    .form-buttons-wrapper {padding-bottom:50px !important; }
