Fillable PDF output that resembles the formAsked by chankins on October 23, 2015 at 08:26 AM
Are you guys any closer to making the pdf output resemble the form?
I'm sorry, but it's currently not possible to get the PDF with the same design/format from the form or closer to that. What you can have is a working fillable PDF that can be saved and submitted. But as far as I know, our developers are working hard to this feature - to enhance the output.
You guys have been working on this for quite some time now. FormSite has this feature. It might be wise to dedicate additional resources toward implementing such functionality before you start losing market share.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it. The PDF forms feature has been evolving through time. Nowadays it is possible to edit the PDF submissions file:
The fillable PDF form was a recent feature and for now has the limitation of having a limited layout, but this takes time to develop.
Jotform offers more features and a better cost-product relation than most of the competition. I understand your request and that having PDF forms with advanced layout might be a vital requirement for you, but in overall Jotform offers a great product.
I will create a feature request for our developers as this can help prioritizing this task.
We'll contact you as soon as we have more details.
Hi. I, too, deal in customer service. Just my opinion, but " I understand your request and that having PDF forms with advanced layout might be a vital requirement for you, but in overall Jotform offers a great product." did not leave me with a warm, fuzzy feeling. It came across more like, "tough luck".
Just for what it's worth.
Sorry if I gave you that impression. I can tell you that this ticket was assigned and has a high priority status, unfortunately we just cannot give you an ETA for its implementation. It's true that this is a high competitive feature and requests like yours help it to become even more prioritized.
I'm sorry for the time it's taking us to develop this feature, but I can assure you that it is a priority for us. I'm sorry for not being able to express this on my previous answer.
As soon as it is implemented we will notify you via this thread.
If you need further assistance please let us know as we're here to help.
