Is there a way to allow the user to enter a payment amount that is not pre-defined.

We occasionally have events where scholarships may be awarded. This requires that the person can enter their own payment amount, or that someone in charge of the event can register for the user and enter an amount into a text field. If we add a text field to the form, can that field then be used for the payment amount?

    Thank you for contacting us.

You can use "Collect Donations/Custom Amount Payments" inside of you payment field. That way your users will be able to enter their own payment amount.

You can also pass a calculation to a payment field. Inside of this guide you can find out how:

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Hi,
Thanks for the quick response, however it doesn’t appear that this method can be used with other payment options on the same form. For example, there might be 9 or 10 other products to choose from on the form, along with a custom payment amount. Am I correct in thinking that you can’t use a custom payment field when there are other products on the form?
    Thanks,
    Bob

Your assumption is correct, you can not use a custom amount payment when there are other products, it's one or the other, but not both options.
