Maximum number of registrations through checkboxes

I have multiple check boxes that I would like to set a maximum number of registrations toward. How can I do that?

If I understood you correctly you would like to have checkboxes on your form, which would in the same time help you with the limits on how many times each can be selected.

If that is correct, then I would suggest taking a look at the Gift Registry widget.
