When upgrading from the free version to the bronze addition, it says 3 sub user accounts. Does that include 4 total with 1 account being a main account and having three sub accounts?

Adding a sub-user means sharing your forms to someone else's independent JotForm account. It does not mean the account that is added as a sub-user will inherit the same benefits, or will be part of a "package". So, you will only have an account.

When you share your form, you will be able to grant full or partial access to your form(s): https://www.jotform.com/help/232-How-to-Share-Forms-with-a-Sub-Account-User

When creating forms, the sub-user must create the form within the folder that's shared to him, in order for that form to inherit the benefits of the paid account, the created form will be actually hosted and belong on the paid account.

Otherwise, if the form is created under "MY FORMS" of the account that was added on your's as a sub-user, the form will get the benefits that correspond the sub-user's account(could be a free account or another paid account).

Okay, so bear with me if you will. I am pretty sure that I understand what you are saying. For example, we have four fire stations and have a jot form for our vehicle daily checkoffs. we also have a master jotform account for smaller vehicles, so five accounts total right now. That being said, could we upgrade to bronze and combine each of the five accounts onto one? We will never pass the number restrictions with bronze, so that wont be an issue. I appreciate the assistance, I am new at this but learning quickly.

    Thanks again

No problem, we are here to help, so let me try to clarify it.

You can register as many accounts as you want to(a different email address and username each), and if you upgrade any of them to a paid plan, in this case Bronze, only that account will have the benefits that a Bronze plan provides.

One of those benefits is the option to add up to 3 Sub-user accounts in order to share your forms with them.

Bronze Upgrade Image 1 Screenshot 30

When you add them, you send the invitation to an email address, so the person needs to register a Free Account (totally independent) with that email address if he does not  have a registered account(it could be a Free or Paid account) with us yet.

When this account is added as a "sub-user" in your account, the account will be granted with access to your forms. So, a folder will show on the account which contains the forms shared to it:

The name of the folder is the name of the account username were the forms actually belong. If a form is created inside that folder, the created form will belong to that folder (the account that is sharing forms to you, because you have been added as a "sub-user" in it), therefor, it will inherit the same benefits.

On the other hand, if a form is  created outside of the folder (I mean, while being on "MY FORMS"), the form will be part of this independent account and will inherit the benefits that this account provides.

So, if you upgrade one of your registered accounts to Bronze, you will be able to share forms with 3 accounts only, and if they want to create forms that inherit the benefits of the Bronze account, they must create the forms inside the folder that was shared to them. Otherwise, the forms will inherit the benefits that correspond to their own accounts.

    Hope this helps.
