    How do I add/attach the excel csv and or the pdf to my notification emails?

    Hello all.  I want to attach the pdf and or the excel csv file to my notification emails?  Any ideas? Thanks

    Unfortunately there is no way to attached files to your notifcation emails.

    Thanks. thought as much.  That would be a VERY useful option on a future update.  Just a nice tight zipped csv to save some effort on your server would be fine.  Or a write of the file to an ftp site.  I am going to use the idea that someone posted of usng the link option in the notification email pointing to an excel report link for now.

    Our developers have not entertained the idea of having the option to attach files to form email alerts. The obvious reason is to avoid abuse to our system resources (bandwidth, etc).

    In my opinion, attaching a link to the file instead of the actual file serves the same purpose and can even be more beneficial, in certain situations, both to our servers and form end-users.

    You guys should entertain it.  You are already doing it via another section of the site anyway.  Nothing really to build just the option to include it on the emails.  That way, we could automate importation of the data into outside databases.  Email comes in with a csv attachment.  Attachement gets saved into a local folder and another local process (Excel, Access, SQL, etc.) picks up the csv and processes from there.

    +1 for this feature, this would save me hours by being able to drop the attachment straight into a folder for sql to import, rather than opening a browser, logging in, navigating to the submissions page etc.

    +1 for this feature.

    Let's say you want an Iphone user to add contact info to their smartphone. The only way is by sending the contact info by email .vcf

    The link method that is consistently advised doesn't work. 

    So Jotform does not provide an efficient method to add a contact to one's system ... which is hopeless considering what you do with all these contact forms .... one has to copy and paste all the details from the jotform submission.

    Any chance?
