I am unable to get Google Drive integration to work properly

I have tried removing and reinstalling the Google Drive integration many times. Both from Jotform as well as from Google Drive application manager. While I've gotten it to create the sub-directory, I have been unable to get forms saved to it. The forms do not appear anywhere on Drive.

The integration did initially work when I first started using Jotform last week. However, in order to make a change to how the saved submission files were named, I removed the integration and reinstalled it after editing the file naming convention. However, upon reinstalling, my forms no longer saved to Google Drive and I have been unable to get this to work despite totally uninstalling the integration from both Jotform and Google Drive and reinstalling.

I have found multiple posts about this problem in the forum but no clear solution. Can someone help please?

Please do follow these steps to create your Google Drive integration: How to Integrate a Form with Google Drive

I had just tried creating the integration and it seems to be working properly for me, so I presume that there might be some issue in the way it is set.

Do of course let us know how it goes for you and if you happen to have any further issues please do let us know of the folder name so that we can try the same setup on our side.

Thanks for the response Ben. I have tried every trick in the book but am unable to make this integration work with existing forms. I have removed and reinstalled the integration on many occassions without success. I have also tried clearing the form cache as well as the browser cache. Deleting all jotform files and directories from Google Drive. I have also tried cloning the form and resaving it after doing all of the above to no avail.

The closest I have come to making this work again is by installing the integration from Google Drive via their application manager. I can then create new forms that are saved to Google Drive but my existing forms still do not. Is there a way to copy the contents of an old form into a new form (not cloning)?

Can you please tell us if you are by some chance using a company Google Drive? Based on what you have mentioned I presume that you might not be allowed to use any Drive integrations - which is why it is failing, but working if you initiate the same through the Google.

If so, you might need to contact your administrator to allow you Drive integrations (and any other privileges that you might need - depending on the setup).

This year Google had increased security on their end, so I presume that you did not create new integrations since that came to life so this is the first time you are seeing it.

If that is not the case, can you please let us know if you happen to get any error when creating the integration and if the folder is created - I do presume that it is not based on your message, but just wanted to check.

Also, in regards to the question you have mentioned above, no, it is not possible to move user submitted data from one form to another.

I am using my own personal Google Drive. The odd thing is that upon the initial integration, everything worked just fine. However, the problems started when I removed and reinstalled the integration in order to add the company name to the file name instead of just the time stamp. Once I reinstalled, I could no longer save my form to Google Drive.

Also, I think you misunderstood my last question. I do not want to move user submitted data to another form. I simply want to copy an old form into a new form created by Google Drive. Is that doable?

You are right, I have misunderstood that part. Yes, you should be able to add the fields into the new form from the old one by using this app: Field Manager.

However, I would like to help you connect to Google Drive again so that no hacks are needed to go around the issue.

For that, can you please tell us what is the form that you are trying to integrate to Google Drive and what is the name of the folders that you had used, so that we can use the exact same text to see if that is causing the issue.
