Has anyone integrated Jotform with pdf's with Digital Signatures?

I have a few clients that are needing signed online forms, though sometimes the person filling out the form, isnt the person signing it. For example, a restaurant wants a form where the select/type in the various catering options, then hit submit, it goes to the restaurants email, then they send the form submission as a pdf to their catering client. If the catering client approves, they sign the pdf and send it back to the restaurant.

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to take an email submission and easily convert it to a signable pdf, and just wanted to see if anyone here has tried it. Thank you for any info.

Unfortunately, only PDF copy of the submissions are downloadable from the email notification and it is not a fillable one. So it cannot be edited and catering clients cannot have them signed.

What I can recommend you to do is create a Fillable PDF copy of the form

The form has its fields and a signature field as well.

The restaurant fills in the PDF copy of the form except the signature field, but will not submit it yet and will just save it.

Note: When you fill a PDF copy of a form, you will have the option to save it as a different file with a different filename. For example, the file name of the PDF(not filled) when you download it is "Title Me". You will open it using your PDF reader, fill in the fields except the signature field and save it as a new file with a new filename like, "Title Me - not approved".

The new PDF that was filled but was not signed yet will be emailed to the catering clients for them to finish by signing it. Once they signed it, they will email it back to the restaurant. The restaurant will then open the PDF copy that was signed already and will submit it so the submission will be saved in the restaurant's Jotform account.

I hope this helps. If there's something from the instructions above that needs to be clarified, please feel free to let us know and we will be glad to help you.

    Thank you.
