I have searched high and low for a way to only receive notification of a submission without receiving all the information in the email, which is NOT secure. How do I do this?

    Thank you.

    Hi Jo-Ann,

Actually your jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/42776088864168 have issue because it violates the JotForm Terms of Use.

    In the clause:

Phishing You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form is created or JotForm is found to be used to: Obtain credit cards sensitive information, get social security numbers, show content with child pornography. Or if a form was made to steal user login credentials. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the guilty forms will be suspended immediately

Your form is considered a phishing form and will not be allowed.

Please delete the form on your account so that the Phishing filter will ban your account and form/s.

You can use the Payment Tools instead if you need to get payment information from end users.

    Example: http://www.jotform.com/form-templates/paypal-pro-payment-form

Let us know if you have further question on this.

I'm sorry, but one of the templates at JotForm is an "Authorize Payment Form" that asks for credit card information right on the form. Take a look at all of your templates.

P.S. The PayPal form has nothing to do with the type of information I need. I am not requesting payment of any kind THROUGH the form.

    Thanks.

Were you referring to this template form http://www.jotform.com/form-templates/authorize-payment-form

It was using the Authorize.Net payment tool which is allowed.

I was referring to the individual fields you have used on your jotform to capture CC account data. That is not allowed.

Using the Payment tools, you can still prevent capturing actual payments, but use it only for authorization process. You will then be able to get payment details of the end user using the payment gateway.

Let us know if you need further clarification on this.

I had absolutely no idea. Everything will be gone very shortly. Unfortunately, I will need to find an alternative outside of JotForm, due to the nature of my business. I only need an authorization form; I then process payments through the various travel companies. My company provides a written form, but online is faster. No big deal, I'll find another avenue. Thanks.

Joannmoss were you able to find another payment authorization form? It seems as though we are trying to accomplish the same thing.

I looked at two other form companies; one is too expensive, and the other has the same rules as Jotform. I really don't understand why a form is allowed when requesting money through PayPal etc., but not allowed when we're not even asking for payment. It makes absolutely no sense to me. I will continue to search.

    Hi,

Credit card information are considered sensitive information of user. Collecting such information manually is not allowed in JotForm for security reasons since this information may be used for phishing activities. We do suggest our user to use our payment fields such as Paypal when they want to process information involving payment or credit cards. Using the Payment fields will securely handle the payment processing and credit card data information. We do not store credit card information in our database. As suggested by my colleague, you can check this article on how to enable Authorization only on your form: How to Enable Payment Authorization.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.
    Regards.
