Can a form for donations be filled out multiple times and then have one total on PayPal?

I've created a form for donations. Is it possible for people to fill it out multiple times, i.e. to make a donation for a friend and a second donation for their mother , then go to PayPal and the total amount due will reflect all their donations?

I believe it is not possible. One submission will proceed on one payment transaction.
