How to reduce spacing between form fields

Asked by Nomax on October 29, 2015 at 11:08 AM

    Hello,

I have a Text field and a Text Box field below it. Is there a way to reduce the spacing between these 2 field? Please see attached screenshot. I tried to not use the Text field and add the information from there into the Text box area, but it does not separate into 2 lines so all the text appears together, which is not very clear to the reader. I want the user to see the question and title of the question first then the instructions for the question below it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

If I understood you correctly you want that your form looks like this.

You can achieve that by adding
rule to your Text area field label where you want that new line starts.

Question 4: Understanding the roles and Responsibilities
A)Please describe your Understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the position(s) for which you are applying. (please limit to 75 words)

Here is my demo form: https://form.jotform.com/53015181865959?

If I did not understood you correctly please explain in more details what you are trying to achieve and also provide us ID of the form you are working on.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
