Hidden fields showing on formAsked by Alpine365 on October 31, 2015 at 09:13 AM
I have three hidden fields on a form of mine, but for some reason they are now not hidden ie when you run the form they show on it. I need them hidden as they are pre-populated with data I then use to calculate info in other, non-hidden fields
When I go to edit the form, they are definitely hidden (on the edit screen is says "this field is hidden and will not be seen on the form"), and yet they still show up!
FYI if you need an example, please click on this link, then click next to go to page 2, at the top of which you'll see the three "hidden" fields:
I have now "fixed" this by deleting the three misbehaving fields and putting in new ones, which hid fine!
But still keen to know if anyone has any idea why this may have happened? As now I do not have the confidence that is won'r suddenly unexpectedly happen again,
I also see the issue when I checked your jotform http://www.jotformeu.com/form/51375445201347
It was due to the error in the Conditions on the form that have deleted field on it.
Fixed first the Condition with deleted field so that no condition rules will be broken because of it.
Save the form after fixing the condition and check again.
When you use the form, use also the non EU url. Example, http://www.jotform.com/form/51375445201347
Hope this help. Let us know if issue remains.
In fact this issue was separate, but I have fixed that now, thanks!
On behalf of my colleague, you are very welcome. If you have any other question or issue, please let s know. We will be glad to assist.
