Adding multiple special pricing options to single product

Asked by coolyeah on November 02, 2015 at 07:42 AM

Hello jotform. I wonder if you consider to add more type of special pricing. for example if I have a thsirt order form that price $10 per tshirt, and I add long sleeve option, than it will add $1 whether than have special price for $11 usd.

And also I can add multiple special pricing like extra size add another $1. and more variation.

Or else we can add more purchase order wizard.

Jotform is awesome... but I think it has lack on this things

    thanks

I would like to confirm if I understood you correctly before raising this to our developers.

You would like to be able to allow your clients to be able to pick a product such as T-Shirt, which would then have special options for them to choose like:

    1. color

    2. long sleeves

    3. size

and have special pricing applied to long sleeves and size changes (2 fields), while for example color would not change the price?

Or did you mean that you would like to have them select out of multiple options with special price being applied based on the selection? A quick example would be something like this: https://form.jotform.com/53055086643961

I have did just like the example that you gave. But the problem is I sold many type of tshirt. and every tees has an option for long/short sleeves and size wich have different price for each option.

could you do something with it? thanks

OK, great. Thank you for confirming this.

I will raise this to our developers to inspect and see if it would be possible to set it up so that special pricing could be set for several fields or not.

I do believe that this would add a level of complexity to the existing functionality, but until that is created (if it would be) there is an alternative that is usually used.

Basically you create all of the fields that you would need on your form and then do calculations through them and pass the value to the payment processing tool.

You can see more about it here:

How to pass a calculation to a payment field

Of course we are here to assist with any questions along the way so please feel free to let us know :)
