If you've raised a thread request for this before than it has likely already been handed off to our Widget Team.
If deemed feasible and beneficial then most likely they will implement it as soon as they are able.

I can't actually find a previous request to include a readonly option on the date/time single widget. So please could you raise a request for it.
I did have several threads to do with the widget, but to my surprise they don't seem to include this request.

I've looked through the thread you refer to. I am wondering if the feature request to have resd only available was actually taken into account for the date/time single field, as well as the normal date/time field. Because it has been implemented for the normal date/time field but not for the date/time single field.

I would like to apologize for the inconvenience, after further reviews, I can see that the request is for the normal Date/Time field available under Quick Tools of the form builder page.
And what you're requesting right now is to add a "read-only" function for the Date/Time Single widget.
Actually, the Date/Time Single widget is by default "read-only". The only way you can change its value is through its "datepicker"
Disabling or hiding the datepicker, will help you achieve what you're trying to accomplish.
Please add this CSS codes to the Custom CSS tab of the widget,
display: none !important;
Here's the form I have used for testing. I have disabled the "datepicker" from the widget so the date/time cannot be changed.

That idea is great, and apart from one problem it is exactly what I want. The problem is one which I mentioned in another thread. If I click on the date/time single field in data entry or edir mode, most of the field gets blanked out, including its border. Just the first 2 or 3 digits remain (and their part of the border is intact).
This problem is still present.

The problem mentioned in the previous post occurs with FireFox and IE. It works ok with Chrome.
Your little demo works in FF and chrome - I've not tried it in IE.
So it must be something in my form that triggers the problem.

We are sorry for the confusion. I've checked your widget on Safari, Chrome, FireFox and IE. It works fine on Safari and Chrome. However, I am able to replicate the issue you are having on FireFox and IE on my side.
Let me try to figure out the cause of this issue. I will get back to you on this soon.
