What is causing the required hidden field not to populate?

Hi,

This form has a preloaded list of schools and a hidden field for new schools. The field appears if Other is selected and is supposed to be required.

The attached screen shot shows what was received earlier tonight. I manually edited the form to add the new school into the blank field. 

Do I have something set up incorrectly? When the students start registering, the Other/New School relationship has to be operational. I can figure out a faculty member, but with student email addresses, I'll never know where they're coming from.

Hello Jim,

I did test you form by submitting a sample application and when other was selected the school name was populated accordingly.

On what browser were you submitting your form? I did the test with Firefox.
