Why is Jotform now asking people to accept cookies to complete a transaction? I'm getting complaints from customers saying they do not want to put cookies on their phones. Is this something new? Please explain.

    Thank you,

    Kelly

    Hi,

I believe JotForm forms do not directly use cookies. However, we do use it to store your session when you log in to your JotForm account, you can check our Privacy Policy here.

The use of cookie will only be triggered if you enable Auto Fill feature both in the Preferences or in the Payment integration.

You can also check the browser to what cookie is being loaded.

Paypal itself I believe uses cookies to check if the user have logged in to the browser and it's a way for them to make the transaction more safe. Here's an article from them: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/cookie-full.

    I hope that helps.
