How can I limit the e-mail submission field only to valid e-mail addresses?

Asked by colectivocoral on October 03, 2010 at 04:45 PM

Is it possible for a form to check if the e-mail a subscriber claims as theirs is real and then validate the field?

You can check if the email address looks valid. Click on the email question on the form builder, and then click on "Validation" button on the toolbar and select "Email".

However, it will not actually check if the email address really belongs to the user. It only checks if the email address has a correct syntax. Such as the @ and . characters.
