    Remove padding from jotform

    Asked by Michela Fitten  on November 05, 2015 at 09:44 PM

    Hey there,

    I have an account with you at thinkbright.mx. "Forma Contacto Web (TEST)" is a new form we testing and are running an A/B experiment on. There is a bit of white padding that is included in the source code which we have pasted on website.

    You can see it here: http://www.thinkbright.mx/unete/ its about 1-2 inches between the title "forma de contacto" and the embedded form. Can you provide suggestion on how to remove this? our programmers have tried and failed.

    Please add the webmaster kim@blablabla.mx to this thread.

    I see that there is an extra space between Obtén una consulta solar gratuita and Nobre.

    Could you try injecting the following CSS code to your JotForm with the margin reduced further to -40px to see if that helps?
    .form-all {
    padding-top: 0;
    margin-top: -40px;

    Here is how to do that:
    1)  Click on Setup & Embed.

    2) Click on Preferences.

    3) Click on Form Styles.

    4) Copy and paste the code above to Inject Custom CSS.

    You can also use the following CSS code, as it’s pretty short and concise. This also removes the top spacing of the form.

    .jotform-form {padding:0}

    If you have any question or issues, please do not hesitate contacting us. We will be glad to assist you.

    After reviewing you web page. I noticed that you used the source code to embed your form. What ever changes are made in Jotform will not take affect in your form. You would need to manually change this in your page.

    When embedding forms, we recommend using iFrame. This will enable you to modify your form in jotform and it will immediately change on your page as well.
