Upload button does stop users from submitting form

Asked by iconicperformances on January 23, 2012 at 12:29 AM

I have created an application form for our applicants where they have to upload a video no bigger than 10MBs.  We have been receiving quite a few calls from the applicants saying that they cannot upload the video.  I have checked the form and even though we have a 15MB limit (15026kb), we seem to still have problems.  The form I am referring to is DrumStory Video Teaser Application.

    The URL is listed below

There are a number of possibilities why the form is not allowing to upload a file.  One of them is an unrecognized file extension.  Another is a file size larger than 15MB.

I have tried making a test submission on your form with an attachment of a file around 10MB, I was not able to replicate the issue.  If you can provide us details of the file and the error returned by the file upload field, it would be great.

    Thanks.

Based on the emails we are receiving, it appears that videos above 8MB are unloadable.  We have tested the form out as well and we can't recreate the issue as well.

How about the file types that they are uploading, were you able to check if it is in your list of allowed files to be uploaded?  It would also be great if there are additional details such as the error that appears and the type of files that they are uploading so we can find out what's wrong.

I just figured one more thing also.  Please make sure that the form user has his browser's javascript enabled.
