Our developers have made a change in regards to this this year which is why that is no longer possible.
We can however help you to change your username instead of deleting your account which would allow you to keep your email.I presume that this would be a good alternative?

Please provide us at least 3 choices of new username you want to change your current one to.
We will check the availability of the usernames and will change your current username to the 1st available option on the choices you will provide.
