Take Photo Widget is Crashing when used in Chrome

Just figured you'd like to know that the capture photo widget crashes Chrome browser. Its an intermittent issue, where typically Chrome will block the widget from opening, (therefore the camera window does not load), in that case the form will work fine and submit properly. However if/when Chrome loads the camera widget, it will only display the camera window(s) not the controls. Then when the form is submitted, it crashes or freezes the browser and the form and any attached photos do not get uploaded.

I've eliminated the widget from my form due to the issue and left only the "browse for photo" feature, which works fine and will allow opening the camera to snap a photo anyway.

We really appreciate you reporting our photo widget crashing issue to us with Chrome.

If I am not mistaken I believe you are likely referring to our Take Photo Widget?

What OS do you have? And What version of Chrome are you using?

I've done some testing of this issue just now and found that it is working normally on my end and that I am not able to replicate any crashing problems.

I am able to see and use the widget including it's photo controls along with submitting properly in the latest version of Chrome.

I am under the impression that you might have blocked it before so this means you need to allow it again so that it works properly.

Also, it is possible that if you hadn't done anything to with the widget on your form in quite some time then it is possible that we may have added an updated version since then. So for that reason there is a chance that the crashing might have occurred due to using an outdated widget.

In those cases we can refresh the widget for you to ensure the latest widget version or alternatively you can remove the widget then add it back to your form again to obtain the latest version for it yourself. So you may want to try that to see if it will work for you.
