issue when using print form option along with collapse form - Download PDF submission file from Thank You Page

I used that collapse option because the form was long...

But when I filled it out, and selected PRINT FORM, it only printed the final section that was "open"...

Is there a way around this to make it work, so someone gets a copy of what they submitted, so they can mail it in with their check?

    Thank you for contacting us.

Until, "print all" feature is not available, you may use the following workaround. It is possible to put downloadable PDF submission link to the Thank You Message / Autoresponder email.

    1. Go to Thank You Page Wizard.

    2. Add the following link to your Custom Thank You Page.

    https://www.jotform.com/pdf-submission/{id}

In this case, your customers will be able to download and print full PDF file after form submission.

    3. You may also want to enable Show Headers and Texts option in Submissions Properties to show mentioned data in PDF submissions.

Please note that you can also download full PDFs through Submissions section.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.

Thank you, I may offer the pdf on the thank you as an option. I’m just concerned they won’t see it, or may forget to print it out…

SO… I was thinking I could offer the pdf, but more importantly, “MOVE” any consent form type requirement into the final section, so the important part they need to send in with their check would be printed…
… sort of like a pay stub, they could sign and include with their payment, and it would also include the pertinent info to match up the check to the online registration.

    Given that idea… I have another question…

I see that there are ways to do conditional logic, which I applied in a simple way in a couple sections, only based on a Yes or No…
But I also see you have a way to pre-populate… and wondering if that can be combined with logic in some way…

For instance.. when they get to the last section…
Can I prepopulate the dollar amount due based on the radio button selection, located there or from a question at the top?
Can I prepopulate the athlete/child’s name to repeat there, also based on the info entered at the top of the form?

Let me know if anything like that is possible… and thanks so much.

I have three accounts with JotForm… two of them premium… and I really like your application.

I know there are many features I haven’t even explored yet.
    Thanks again!

    Clarification please…

Are you saying, that the pdf can be offered via an autoresponder EMAIL?
Down below, it appears it can only be part of the thank you message… which just pops up on the page, right?

    Hello Christine,

Can I prepopulate the dollar amount due based on the radio button selection, located there or from a question at the top?

This is something that can be achieved by changing form source code. If you provide more details on your query we can try to help with the coding part.

Alternatively, you may add several price fields, and show only one price field based on Show / Hide a form field conditions.

Can I prepopulate the athlete/child’s name to repeat there, also based on the info entered at the top of the form?

This will require coding too, please take a look at the following article to get general information about the process.

Are you saying, that the pdf can be offered via an autoresponder EMAIL?

Yes, you can create the Autoresponder, and add the same link to the autoresponder message.

    Hello

    Nice tutorial, thank you.

I would like to include headers and texts to the generated pdf file. Is it possibble?
I have added http://www.jotform.com/pdf-submission/{id}  to my thank you page, but only the filelds are exported to the generated pdf.

    Hi Zoltan,

To include headers and text, please do the following:

    1. Go to My Forms page

    2. Select the form and click on Submissions icon in the toolbar

    3. On your submissions page, click the Preferences icon (the little gear below the "Delete" button in the following screenshot) and check Show Headers and Texts:

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have further questions. Thank you!

    @zoltanpaszinger

Submission PDF's cannot contain Free Text elements. A good workaround would be to insert the same text onto a hidden box field.

Here's a thread that might help you:
