Form disappeared

    Hi there,

    Built a form. Saved it.  Tested it.  Worked great all day yesterday.

    Logged in today and it says I have no forms (the text of the form is still visible, but when you fill it out, it says there is no form).

    Well, it was just simple enough to quickly recreate it.

    But my confidence in using jotform long term is a little shaken (this was a test run before I upgraded to a paid account for all my forms).

    If anyone has any answers to what might have happened (including something I might have done wrong), I would love to hear them.

    Hi needfl,

     

    Thank you for reporting this issue. May I ask if you tried to open your forms in a different internet browser like firefox, Chrome, IE,..etc.? Try also to erase/delete your browsing cache and cookies.

    I have only acessed the forms from one computer, using firefox.

    At first, I thought maybe I had accidently deleted it last night...but when I checked my email, I had recieved a submission this morning, so it was working after I had signed off last night and before I logged back on this afternoon.

    I have already received a submission with the next, re-done, form. Things seem fine now, I will keep an eye on it.  I produce a number of art festivals during the year and this is our first test of having an online application.

    @needfl, we did have an issue earlier today that affected some of our users, depending on the timing, it may explain the problems that you had with your form:

    'Our site is being protected by a security proxy service, CloudFlare. They were under a DDoS attack today and were unavailable for some users. We are not sure how many percentage of visitors were affected and for how long. We received the reports within an half an hour period so that probably is how long the downtime took for the impacted users. '

    It was a very temporary issue , just seems plain bad luck that you were working on your forms at during that exact 30min to 1 hour period.
