How to limit dimension of jpg file?

Asked by Njezni on November 12, 2015 at 06:49 PM

    Dear Sirs,

I'm using your service for a short time and I like it. In my form I put an Image Upload Preview element to pick up photo of potential customers. My problem is how to limit a size of an image which customers are uploading. The most people don't pay attention to the size of an image when uploading it, and the most of them are too big. Too big image make my submission uncomfortable to review and I would like to have an opportunity to limit it - for example to accept only images not bigger than 300x300 px.

It will be nice if element like Image Upload Preview  would have an option to limit a size of uploading photo in some way. Maybe it could be done in a way that person, while uploading, is forced to reduce a size of the picture, or if the system is reducing size of the photo when putting it into submission (notification) email. Maybe, finally, you already have an element that is doing this in some way and I’m not aware of such element.

    Thank you for your time

    Regards

    Hi Darko,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately, there is no way to limit the dimensions of a picture, you can only limit the size of it.

If there are more users requesting the same, we will escalate it to our developers and they will take it into account.

If the feature is developed, we will let you know via this thread.

    Thanks.
