Question About Pulling Reports

    Question #1:

    I want my employees to be able to pull down reports. I know how to create a link to pull a specific report, containing specific columns. What I want to know is, what if I only want them to be able to pull columns that state a specific thing. 

     

    For instance, in my form entitled, 2016 AOIC Job Application, it asks the applicants to select a name from the drop down menu for whose affiliate/franchise they are applying under.

     

    So, I want the specific affiliate/franchise owner to be able to pull all the columns, but only for those who select their name from the drop down menu. I don't want them to see the applicants for the other affilate/franchise owners.

     

    Question #2:

    I also want to see if when the applicant selects a specific affiliate/franchise owner, can the Notifier go to the specific address for that affiliate/franchise owner.

    Thank you for contacting us.

    We have different type of reports. For example you can export your data to Excel, CSV and PDF. 

    Inside of this guide you can find how to Create Form Reports in JotForm:

    In some of the reports it is possible to create report only from specific/selected fields.  

    You can create conditional email Notification that will send email notification based on selection of your field "affiliate/franchise owner". Inside of this guide you can find how to do it:

    You can also check option Attach PDF inside of your email Notification.

    That way specific affiliate/franchise owner to which Notification is send based on conditional Notification, will also be able to download PDF report.

    This answered my question about how to have an email sent to a particular
    person when they're selected from the drop down menu.
    My second question was not answered. I saw that you showed me how to attach
    a PDF when the email is sent. What I am trying to do is to create a report
    that will only show the affiliate owner their people who completed the
    form. So, in other words, it would only show the rows of the respondents
    who selected their name in the drop down menu. This report form needs to be
    in excel, not individual PDFs of each email sent.
    They need to be able to click a link and generate the report of everyone
    who applied and selected them as the affiliate/franchise owner.
    Is this possible?

    I would like to apologize for the inconvenience, however, there is no way we can send excel files or have a link to download one in the email notifications/autoresponders unless it's been uploaded within the form, of course. Unfortunately, there is also no way that we can pull up only the submission data that's base on a selection made on every submission on the form and create an excel report of it. When a report is created it would be for the entire submission page. The only way I can think for you to achieve such task is doing it manually and I understand that it could be very tedious. Because you need to download all the submission data from the submission page as an excel file. Then, you need to retain the data per affiliate owner and remove the others. This could mean that you will need to download the excel file multiple times, one per each affiliate owner.

    I have several forms that require my staff to upload their paradox and it
    is stating that the file is too large and its not large at all so I'm
    trying to figure out if I can make the capacity for uploads larger.
