Add pdf and word doc to form page

Had pdf and word doc of the the form we have created for those still using the paper and pencil and the bottom of the page which form is on..  We i click on them nothing happens. When i try to edit them in Wix editor it tells me to change code. How did these become part of the form and not separate pdf and word doc? Thanks
