Form deletes excel formula

When the form sends the data to my google sheets it deletes the cell formula. So we have to go in and manually input the data. Major pain.

Note the last entry. It should read 20 in the last column but Jot form deletes the formula.

This also happens with Google Form when we send data to a  Google Sheets form with cells containing formulas.

    Any solutions?

Unfortunately this is how the Google Spreadsheet integration works.

If you redo the integration process, it will reset the Submissions and will recreate the Submission sheet again, then populate it with submission data from the form.

Try not to remove the integration if necessary so that you will not have to do the integration process.

Hope this help. Let us know if issue remains.

    Thanks.

I am wanting Google Sheets to auto calculate the totals of my order. I input the formula into Sheets and it works when I manually type in the info. However, when Jot form sends the info to Sheets it erases the formula on those columns. So I have to go back in and manually past the formula into each entry.

    Hi,

As my colleague mentioned, this is how the Google Spreadsheet integration works. If you try to edit the spreadsheet integrated to Jotform, it might break the integration. You can try to add your calculation to a different/separate sheet and just link it to the spreadsheet integrated to JotForm.

    Regards.
