Multiple Inventory Widgets Total ValueAsked by blueforms on November 20, 2015 at 03:18 PM
What is the right way to pass the total amount with the conditional logic to a text field when using the "Inventory" widget with a quantity dropdown... so far Im just able to update the total field with a new value, but when using multiple inventory widgets I need them to start adding up. In my case I need to add 3 inventory widgets and all three need to output the the total to a single text filed so that then I can use papal to process payment
I have checked your form and it seems that you were able to find a way to pass the value to the Total field base on the quantity selected on all of the three Inventory widgets. I can see that you've used a sub-total field to gather the computed amount for each Inventory widget then, you've added the sub-totals and passed it to the Total field.
I have cloned your form and that's what I'm seeing: https://form.jotform.com/53236289928973
I suppose your concern with passing the computed value for each Inventory widget is solved.
You may also try to consider having these three conditions on your form instead of having many conditions for each quantity options.
Here's how it is done:
Here's a sample a form having those three conditions only:
