Both these issues are related to a DDoS attack and recovery from it, at our security proxy service, CloudFlare.
While any service unavailablity is undesirable, the downtime involved 2 days ago was limited ( to under an hour), the SSL issue with certain secure form URLs that developed during their recovery from the attack, took a little longer to identify and fix, we apologise for that.
JotForm employ Cloudfare to help provide maximum possible service availability to our users forms, unfortunately even they, on rare occasion are suspectible to attack .
I hope that goes some way to explain what happened.
