Form Collapse won't open in design mode. You need to delete it to see your full form in Designer.

This is how the Form Builder and Form Designer works.

To get around this, you do not need to delete the Collapse field.

What you can do is just set the 'Status' of the Collapse to 'Open' in the Form Builder.

then you can go to the Form Designer and you can now see the fields enclosed by the opened Collapse field.
