Minimum quantity in Purchase OrderAsked by cateringonline on November 24, 2015 at 09:15 AM
I have 2 comments regarding Purchase Order
1) I understand that we cannot set a min. qty in Purchase Order. I've seen the work-around solution about using a number field then inserting a text field and setting a condition to display an alert when user inputs a figure lower than the min. This is tedious & cannot work for multiple product selection in the Purchase Order.2) Allow product description. Ideally, there should be a field for product name and another for a short description. Right now, I type everything into the product name field & insert
to work around the problem.
It would be great if the purchase order can include the 2 features I mentioned. It only makes sense since it's a Product Order form.
This is possible to set a minimum quantity for products in the following way.
Although, it will not work for custom input quantity.
The second question has been moved into a separate thread, so that we will be able to address it properly.
We will get back to you quickly.
