Copy of submitted form sent to user?

Asked by mikewilson81 on January 27, 2012 at 12:57 PM

I am using the form save setup by having a seperate form for the user to login with their email.  Once they are on the main form, is there a way to send them a copy of the submitted form to the email that they logged in with?  Like a confirmation email or is there a way to make the thank you message provide a link to the completed form?

There would have to be an email field on the form in which the user would have to enter the same email address used in the login form. I realize this sounds a bit cumbersome but tests I recently ran with a similar two form system showed that it's not possible to combine the session and pre-population parameters in a single URL. In other words, the session parameter can't be used in a link that will load a form with the email field (or any other field, hidden or not) pre-filled with the user's information.

So, it would just be a matter of setting up an autoreponder for the main form.

I'll think it over some more and see if there's a better solution.
