Actually, JotForm has a really good app about setting seating plan and making reservations. Below, you can add that feature to your form via URL:

    http://apps.jotform.com/app/reservation_form

Please, try this one and let us know your thoughts. If you find something is missing, you can share it with us.

    Thanks.

    Hi there

the seat layout does not view in the form builder. I cannot adjust the size of the seating layout. I cant embed this to my website only as a link to page. Basics works ok, but doesnt do much else. ie i cant hide the seating plan until the customer has paid or can I? what if i need to undo the seat reservation.. not detail of how to do this.

If all these were possible a great little widget. Otherwise, sadly needs more development, as I said i cant mess with it as nothing to view in my jot form other than 3 fields.

    Any suggestions.

You cannot see the seat in the form builder and adding fields in the reservation form won't work. After you publish it in the Reservation App, you will get a special link to access the form. Example:

    http://reservation.jotform.io/form/53305212467954

Please try our multi select grid widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/multiselect_grid. Here's how to add a widget in your form:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form

You will have to create a new form for this.

-The cell is automatically blocked after the form is submitted.

-You can free up the selected cell by editing the submission in the form submissions page: http://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-view-Submissions.

    Thanks

I have checked your form on your website and it is showing the previously selected seats on the Multi Select Grid widget

I have cloned your form and was able to see how it works: https://form.jotform.com/53305442050947

So basically, the widgets will load previously selected seats and the next submitter will not be able to select those selected seats already.

With regards to the time and date, I can see that you have set two dates or schedule on your form on the "Select Showing" field. I would suggest you have another MultiSelect Grid on your form, one each schedule that you have. Then create a condition that when this schedule is selected it will show the MultiSelect Grid widget for that schedule only.

    Here are the conditions:

I hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance. Thank you.
